Expectations/ engagement

Before i will make/create my magazine i need to think about what my audience needs and expect from my magazine- which means that i need to meet with their needs and expectations. It is the one of many important things, which i will need to know because different type of music magazine's attract different type's of people (e.g. people who likes artists such as: britney spears, justin timberlake, dami lovato etc.- they prefer to buy smash hits magazine instead of kerrange! because its a rock magazine- which is aimed for people who like's listening to rock, musics and bands. So in kerrange! magazine people expect to see, read and find out things such as: the same type of music featured as the magazine is promoted , so that people when they look at the cover page of magazine, they can automatically predict that it's going to be a rock magazine and not pop or R&B genre.- which means that they are expected to see a rock bands in the cover page of magazine such as paramore, slipknot etc. and the conventional features of a magazine.
